Sen. Lieberman: Cut Social Security to prevent cuts to defense budget
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) announced on the Senate floor Tuesday that he was working on a bipartisan proposal to reform Social Security. He said reforming entitlement programs like Social Security was necessary to prevent cuts to the defense budget.
